Christopher Cisneros Franco, better known as Choper NawersĀ®, hails from the beautiful City of the Three Rivers—CuliacĆ”n, Sinaloa. He’s been professionally into illustration for around 25 years now, and let’s just say: he’s been at it full blast.

Over the years, he’s worked on all kinds of projects—editorial, advertising, artistic—you name it.

Some of the big names he’s teamed up with include: C&A, NBC Universal, TV UNAM, Canal 22, UNHCR, UNDP, UNODC, Cerveza Indio, Comex, Editorial Televisa, Kybernus, Grupo Expansión, and publishing houses like Laurence King, Monsa Ediciones, SRK, and Belio MGZN.

He’s also always had a soft spot for social causes and pro bono work—meaning he’s put his talent to use in volunteer projects that help vulnerable communities, mostly by cutting down or waiving costs altogether.

One of his most memorable achievements was pulling off the #365Rounds challenge—one illustration a day for a whole year. He didn’t just finish it, he turned it into a book, and that piece ended up winning the a! DiseƱo Award 2016 in the Book category.

He’s deeply interested in design projects that aim to improve communities and promote social awareness—always, always putting Mexico first.

These days, he works freelance under his own brand: Choper NawersĀ®, hopping around the country in search of fresh, exciting, and meaningful projects.

JosĆ© Antonio MartĆnez De la Cruz, better known as JAMDELAC, held his first solo exhibition at the Casa de la Cultura Tonacalli in Iztapalapa, Mexico City in 1999, an experience that encouraged him to continue on that path. Thanks to this and his curiosity, he later joined various artistic experimentation workshops – Graphic Design, Sculpture, and Painting – at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Armed with his stencils, he combines ink, spray paint, and acrylic, as well as elements of Mexican popular culture, dazzling us with works full of textures that invite observation. He aims not only to represent symbols or icons but also to include hidden messages in his works, many of which can be visualized under ultraviolet light, or even through 3D glasses. His willingness to show his work from any perspective gifts us with multisensory pieces that also add a new perception to what Mexico represents. From Iztapalapa to the World, 1982
