Mexico! Mexico! The eagle and the serpent of our glorious National Coat of Arms are represented in a truly striking way by the Mexican artist Uriel Ortega, born in the heart of Tehuacán, Puebla. To further highlight the Mexican spirit, especially when it comes to soccer, we have as our central figure a symbolic artist of the sport who reveals his Mexican identity through the national colors and the headdress that transforms him into an eagle warrior (cuāuhpipiltin), a member of the highest military elite of the Aztec Empire. The ball control, the saves in the middle of the goal, the frontal attacks with the speed of a serpent, and the shots on goal, along with the interplay of curved and straight lines, give us a sense of movement and place us squarely in the spirit of the 2026 World Cup.
